Vietnam’s weather varies by region, but the best overall time to visit is from February to May and September to November, when the weather is pleasant and dry.
In Central Vietnam (Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue): the dry season runs from February to August, offering sunny skies and perfect beach days.
In Northern Vietnam (Hanoi, Sapa): October to April is cool and ideal for trekking or sightseeing.

Pack light and breathable clothes for the warm months, and bring a light jacket or sweater if you’re visiting the north during winter (December–February).
